Who we are

We have two websites serving different purposes:

Marketing Website – webguy.co.il, where information about our services and products is presented.
Client Website – members.webguy.co.il, which is intended for registered clients only, where they can access courses and manage their accounts.

Information stored on the client website

On the client website, we store additional information about registered clients, including the following details:

• Products and courses purchased.
• Course progress.
• Contact details, such as full name, email address, and phone number.

It's important to note that credit card details are not stored on our website. All credit card payments are processed via a global and reliable third-party service called Stripe, which secures the information according to the highest standards.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the marketing website, we collect the information entered in the comment form, the IP address, and the browser’s user agent string to identify and protect against spam comments. We may pass an anonymized string created from your email address to the Gravatar service to check if you are using the service. Gravatar's privacy policy is available here. After your comment is approved, your profile picture will be publicly displayed in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, it is recommended to avoid uploading images that include location data (EXIF GPS), to prevent site visitors from downloading and extracting this information.

Cookies

When you leave a comment on the marketing website, you have the option to save your name, email address, and website in cookies for convenience, so you don't have to fill in your details again when leaving another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit the login page, we will set a temporary cookie to check if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in to the site, we will set up cookies to save your login details and display preferences. These cookies last for two days, and if you select "Remember me," your login details will be saved for two weeks. Logging out of your account will delete these cookies.
If you publish or edit content, an additional cookie will be saved to indicate the post ID, and this cookie will expire after one day.

Embedded content from other websites

Posts on the marketing website may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles). When such content is displayed on the site, it functions as though you visited the original website, and these websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed third-party tracking, and monitor your interactions with the embedded content.

Sharing your information

If you request to reset your password, your IP address will be included in the password reset email.

Data retention period

Comments left on the marketing website are retained indefinitely to allow automatic approval of future comments. For registered users on the client website, we also store the personal information entered into the user profile. Every registered user can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except for changing the username). The site management team can also view and edit this information.

Your rights to your information

If you have an account on the client website or have left comments on the marketing website, you can request a file containing all the personal data we hold about you, including all the data you have provided us. You can also request that we delete your personal data, except for information we are required to retain for legal, administrative, or security purposes.

Transferring your information

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
